I'm also going to remind /you/ that she is still a politician, a position which is meant to work for the country. People don't need another excuse for hate. Trump's election triggered the ball growth of Nazis, KKKs, other racists and everyone who just always wanted to assail a woman sexually. If Hillary said publicly that Trump's election was bullshit it would trigger something along the lines of a civil war, for lack of time and will to find a better metaphor.

For one thing, her statement was before the election when she (and everyone else) was confident that she would win. 

Second, I don’t think it’s about Hillary’s reaction, it’s about her followers’ reactions. If she was defending the way we’ve had democracy for years, electoral vote and all, then shouldn’t her supporters accept it peacefully as well? It’s our law, simply the way the system works. I’m not saying you have to love it, but there were plenty of people unhappy with Obama’s election, and we didn’t throw a tantrum and violently protest. A peaceful protest is constitutionally protected, but rioting and attacking others is not.
