Pencil Man commitment to the bit (does it for the kids/his identity, has a life and persona outside of being Pencil Man, is incredibly devoted to having Pencil Man be an integrated persona of its own to keep it separate from his personal life) vs Le Frog commitment to the bit (Le Frog is everything he is and will ever be. He does not need to construct a persona and idea of what Le Frog means bc that's just him. He does not have a life outside of Le Frog the Supervillain bc he does not want to be anything other than Le Frog)

Hey I'm pretty sure Le Frog is the only French person on Prime. At least as far as I'm aware. Do you think he taught Pencil Man how to speak French?

Man. Not to doodlejump post while we’re in the middle of the prime defenders hiatus but.

How do you think having new nemeses is impacting le frog? After having his time in ze eighties with Pencil Man it’s gotta be hard for him to move on. To find himself. Of course he gives up easily to the police and fights so hard to get the prime defenders to recognize him. He hasn’t had anyone to really bounce off of and compete with since Pencil Man. He’s desperate for ANYONE to battle him. Even if it’ll never be the same.

Man. Like. Le Frog is such a silly lil villain he deserves to have his long term pencil man romance. Nothing good ever happens to the French.
