Dazatsu work hc’s

-It’s a give and take relationship and this is also true for their work habits. On one hand, Atsushi manages to get Dazai out on time, but on the other hand Atsushi gets dragged back into bed at the prospect of hugs. They always need breakfast. Like normally they never did but now they always need breakfast together, punctuality be damned.

-They just need to walk in the door and everybody knows. They know they dating. Don’t even bother to hide it. Atsushi’s productive enough and their relationship is only really a bother at work when the two procrastinate by kissing.

-Clients are absolutely baffled that Dazai doesn’t ask to commit double suicide with them, and to respond he just wraps his arm around Atsushi.

-The two sadly don’t get that many missions together, despite their insistence. They always text each other to see if they’re okay, just an ‘asdfjxiclvbert’ suffices. If it’s been too long, they finish what they’re doing as fast as they can and help each other out. It’s their job description, but they still cling a little tighter to each other afterwards. Tanizaki awkwardly third-wheels after an infiltration, rip

-The two get hurt wayyy too often, and Yosano just gets to the point where ‘look do you just want to hold hands while I hack Dazai open? Jfc’ considering that treating Dazai takes more pain and work because of NLH.

-They try to avoid Ranpo as much as possible, because he knows. He knows all. Ranpo thinks it’s hilarious. Give up, you can’t escape. Naomi and Yosano also seem to have this intuition. Also Kenji and Tanizaki. Bloody everyone knows.

-Fukuzawa and Kunikida aren’t really bothered by it. Fukuzawa can relate, ‘I didn’t go to work because he fell asleep on my lap.’ ‘I completely understand. I can’t move when there’s a cat sleeping on me either.’

-At first Kunikida’s bothered by it, but after seeing how happy the two are he can’t help but be okay with it. (I’m not really a fan of the ‘kunikida only serving the purpose to yell at people’ in fics, he is. Importan.t he deserves better.) Atsushi becomes a lot closer to him, because he wants to help Dazai when he gets in depressive episodes. They have a mutual respect.

-You can pinpoint exactly when Dazai hugs Atsushi because of shaky handwriting, or straight out typos.

Why Kunikida is amazing and you should respect, love and appreciate him

@pengwenno despite barely writing Kunikida (which I definitely have to change) I am part of the 'Protection and Proper Characterisation of Kunikida' squad. I'm writing the headcanons later for convenience of people just wanting me to analyse Kunikida. He's serious and 'straight', of course- but I think the most crucial part of his characterisation isfittingly enough, his ideals. He's a very morally righteous character and wants to be the best and most right. This is interesting when factoring the fact that: 1. most of the characters are morally ambiguous, case in point, complete moral middleman/dismisser Dazai, for example. Heck all of the Buraiha are primary examples. 2. He's in a law-abiding job. Which sounds ideal for a morally strict character until you remember this is the 'real world', and most situations always have different reasons and levels of morality. Kunikida, by the sole fact that he is the 'moral man' inevitably gets his ideals thrown in his face by virtue of reality, his job and other people. From the Gags with Dazai messing up his schedule to the Azure King arc and (though I haven't read it) the soon to be OVA with the child on the train. For the latter, yes the ideal is to save everybody. But that's not gonna happen. Which is another amazing insight into his character. You think that a character that is so strict about what's right would be logical, but it's almost the exact opposite. Sure, Kunikida is level-headed for the most part, but when his ideals are challenged, he breaks down. He doubts himself. Because Kunikida cannot be the pillar of moral righteousness he wants to be. He's still /human/. He can't do everything right, no matter how specific he writes his schedule and how precise he is. (Wow as I'm typing this I'm gaining a better appreciation of kunikidazai) But think about it. Why is Kunikida so great with the Agency and working with others like Dazai and Tanizaki? Because of this primary flaw of humanity and that the ideal can never be achieved, Kunikida becomes adaptable. When it comes to others he can be perfectly logical, a la lecturing Atsushi about Kyouka, but he holds himself at such a high standard, which will only increase with cutie patootie Aya who I am super excited for, and the prospect that he will succeed Fukuzawa. He is honestly so much more than plot pusher or the lecturer, and he deserves better treatment from the fandom.

What did your past relationship teach you:  I am still with my first love. Haha~ ♥‿♥

so I guess I can use a friendship. STORY TIME I GUESS. (SKIP IF YOU WANT. IT’S OKAY) I was in a pretty manipulative “friendship” for a long time. It was this girl I met at school(around freshmen year?) She was my best friend. But she became extremely controlling. She would get mad at me for having other friends(I had a hard time making them already cause I was shy. So she was kinda my only close friend but then I started to branch out more and I guess she didn’t like that....), and whenever she did something bad or whatever and if I tried to correct her on it or even try to help her, it always somehow became MY FAULT, she would blame me for ridiculous reasons. I can’t even BEGIN to explain. It still hurts my head remembering all of it. Long story short let’s just say she just took advantage of the fact that I was a nice person and would always walk all over me when she wanted something. *SIGHS LOUDLY* Honestly I was too nice to her for to long.... I always believed in second chances....and I give her too many. But this relationship taught me that it’s important to let go of toxic people. Even if it’s hard.  Because our times together weren’t always awful. In fact this girl was really sweet when we first met, we did have fun , we shared similar interests/hobbies and would create things together too. But it’s too bad she changed for the worst. It actually really pained me to drop her completely. Ignoring her at school, deleting her number, and all that. Eventually she left our school, which made things easier for me at least. I didn’t have to deal with openly ignoring her. No one but her give me flak for it cause they knew she wasn’t very nice to me. But I was still really sad cause I never had to do something like that before. Man, I didn’t mean to get all ramblely and depressing sorry guys.

Asian culture dictates that one is to be of awkward level 10000 if they sincerely tell someone (other than their s/o) that they love them. So.... probably playfully (like “HNGAH I LOVE YOU????”) to a friend....

Aha refer to the above. Probably my friend, as declared on instagram, when I gifted her a giant plush toy Kotori.

(I’m not one to place a lot of importance on verbal affirmation, so it doesn’t really bother me that my family has never said it to me ^^)

23. Who is your best friend and how did you meet

The friend mentioned in the question above aha. It was my first year in secondary school, during some volleyball tryouts. I was sitting behind her during the briefing and the trainer said “Embrace the pain!” (or something along those lines). My friend (then-classmate) told another classmate (who also became one of my closest friends <3) “That’s something Kenpachi (from Bleach) would say!”

Me, being The Awkward Potato That Hadn’t Started A Conversation Ever, then piped up softly “Oh my god you watch Bleach too?”

I don’t even remember if she even heard me but yeah, that was our first interaction. 

25. Do you get sick often

I have an annual fever. I’m not kidding - I always get a fever once a year, and it’s always, always during school. 

And every year I never learn my lesson and try to push through the school day.

It always ends in tears and 2 days off of school.

Rinse, wash, repeat every year.

I live with my family! (My mother, my father, and my elder brother) And with the prices of housing in my country, that probably won’t change until I’m 40.

Since we’re only ten days into 2017, I’ll just write this question for 2017~ I’m trying to work harder on improving my art, trying to crawl my way out of my anxiety and depression, and trying to get out of social isolation (aka leaving the house for reasons other than classes). Ah, and I’m also trying to get back on Japanese classes in college.

Mm, yes? But I don’t believe that people only have one true love. I just think that it is possible to care very deeply (romantically or platonically) about a partner (or partners).

...In retrospect, maybe I don’t....?

30. Have you ever been hurt by someone you thought cared about you

Yes, and I think most people have? I don’t mean this in a... ‘after-break-up’ kind of way? People who care about you have the greatest tendency to hurt you. My family members and close friends have all said things that hurt me deeply, but I just grew to realise that (usually), those things are uttered in a fit of temper or on impulse, and the underlying reason is usually their concern for me. But more importantly, it’s about bringing the issue up to the person in question, reaching an understanding together, and then moving on as better people ^^
