my mom gave me this big lecture on my signature

while i quite like my name it happens to look really ugly in cursive, and its also difficult to write so over the years my signature has become shorter and shorter to the point where i just write my initials now

which my mom chewed me out for because a) someone could easily mimic it (not that that that really makes a huge difference, anyone could copy any signature, i don't think people at the unemployment office are penmanship experts) and b) as she put it, "it looks like the signature of someone who doesn't know how to write."

jeez woman tell me how you really feel

but i guess i like need to practice that because like i can't do those flowy swirly signatures because i have a tendency to press down way to hard, and also obnoxious name that looks terrible in cursive

seriously why does cursive exist its stupid
