You’re right! Collin is currently a freshman in college and studying to become a nurse, but that’s not the main focus of the story. Would it surprise you to hear his story is actually sci-fi? Haha!

So the story he comes from is called The Weapon, and the basic premise is that Collin is interning at a lab that does a lot of important stuff, studying diseases, developing vaccines, etc. But while working there he meets a man who... doesn’t quite seem like he belongs there... He’s intimidating, and crass, but there’s also an undertone of sadness in his voice that Collin can’t quite understand. He decides, maybe, Jaden just needs a friend. However as his friendship with Jaden grows stronger he starts to learn that there’s more going on at the lab he works, and the world he lives in, than he realized.
