Hey there, I've been compiling myself a list of zosanzo doujins in English that I've read and enjoyed, because I got tired of being like "i wanna reread that one comic" but then I have to scrounge around the internet because I don't remember enough about it to find it lol, so I listed the name, artist, and a short summary of the doujin.

I decided to share it because I figured other people would appreciate it as well.

These are all ones I've found myself wanting to read multiple times, so there's some that I've read that aren't on this list, but if there's any that I haven't listed that you think I may not have read/forgot to add do tell (mostly because I'm just always looking for doujins i haven't read lol)

I don't think Tolkien is a good fantasy writer because he scored the highest at some objective Best Fantasy Book Test that every fantasy writer has to take, I think he's a good fantasy writer because he created a world based on things that he was interested in. I feel like a lot of fantasy writers think that they need to create a whole language for their world because Tolkien did and obviously his books are the best so they have to emulate him, but Tolkien did that because he was a linguistics nerd. I think the lesson to be learned from him is not that you have to include elves and deep history and new languages, but that you have to write endlessly about the things you are a huge nerd about and use those things to create your fantasy world

#I say this ALL THE TIME #anytime some criticizes a fantasy story or even just the world building of a story in general they ALWAYS compare it to Lord of the Rings #not all world building needs to be Tolkien levels of intricate #in fact you don’t even need to know a lot of the information he came up with in order to enjoy the original books #most people dont #Lord of the Rings is obviously a classic but it’s not the on #only way to write fantasy #sometimes I see people comparing something’s world building to Tolkien’s #and it’s like complaining that a Picasso doesn’t look like the Mona Lisa

I just want to say that Shedding Our Skins has been lowkey keeping me sane in some ways. IDK Zoro's gender stuff paired with Sanji's confusion with how to treat him is so, so good. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
