Russell is a sucker for anything sugar cookie, pumpkin spice and gingerbread related when it comes holiday/winter flavours. He also enjoys a spiced dirty chai latte (a spiced chai latte with a shot of espresso in it).

Another tradition Russell has in the Winter is he'll buy a cat advent calendar for Misty. Yes, he knows it makes him seem like a 'crazy cat man' but he doesn't care. He gets her a different one every year.

Another favourite memory Russell has is also related to Christmas, and that was when he unwrapped the drum that Lewis had made and Martin had painted, even down to the sticks. That was what got turned his spark for drumming into an absolute passionate flame for the instrument.
