As someone who's only vaguely aware of RWBY drama, could you maybe explain the reason you're taking those precautions with your designs? Not mad or anything, more of a "Great, what's RT done this time?" inquiry.

I will be honest, I am still not completely in the loop either with the drama in itself, but since it’s centered around Grimm and Grimm designs it’s kind of given me the push into the decision.

I’ve heard the same warnings from multiple people that supposedly artists have found their Grimm designs, or an eerily similar design, appearing in RWBY media about a year after they’ve been made, with no warning or credit. I’m not saying my ideas are completely original by any means. Like, I wouldn’t be mad if something of the same animal that I’ve covered appeared in the show, but we’re talking everything identical apart from some barely noticeable differences, like bone markings.

I know for a fact RT has seen my designs because I’ve shared them on twitter and they have been noticed. That was my intention originally as I really wanted to be hired by them, but I’ve come to realize that isn’t ever going to happen. However, the warnings stuck with me still, so I wanted to take them down so I can preserve the designs and lore to use for my own work. It may well already be too late, but at least I can say I tried.

The precaution could well be me being overly paranoid, and honestly? I really hope it is because if they are stealing designs from their own fans, that truly is a dick move. RT isn’t a small company anymore, they can afford to pay artists for their work.

Now memes aside, i’m not too sure what kind of foods they would strongly disagree on, but i know that Jake absolutely likes sour, Jade definitely don’t, and she’s extremely dramatic about what she doesn’t like.
