i actually think that if quentin had to die, the show is handling his death in the best possible way they can between the fire scene at the end of s4 and the s5 showing them trying to grieve + heal after his death.

on the other hand? penny-40 deserved better and i will stand by this until the day i die. penny-23 is soft and mistreated and i love him dearly, but i hate how everyone but kady seemed okay with replacing penny with a very clearly different version of him.

I love that Penny-40 has essentially become the semi-omniscient Lorne character of THE MAGICIANS.
