Egyptian Starcluster has enjoyed growing in the shade but is now very tall (Pentas Lanceolata), native to much of Africa. It’s a perennial in my garden but colder areas it would be an annual. I just got a new colour and have struck the cutting in water 😁. These two cuttings have grown very well. The neighbour has a pink one so I’ll try to get a cutting of that one as well. It’s quite enjoying growing in the shade although it’ has become a little “leggy”. Egyptian Starcluster (Pentas Lanceolata), is a species of flowering plant that is native to much of Africa as well as Yemen. It is known for its wide use as a garden plant often in butterfly gardens. I was given this as a cutting, by a friend, and grew it last year in the garden but the red salvia overshadowed it so it’s now rescued into a pot because it started to die off.
