#inktober #inktober2019 Night 3.1 Redux: mecha-centaur Warm-up for night 4. Used light table with original from yesterday as base. Side-by side comparison, the trade-off is raw power from high contrast and some one-hit-wonder lines and brush attacks for cleaner and finer details and diluted mid-tones. Yesterday involved a lot of white-out ez correct tape. I tried to replicate some of the major brush strokes but it's hard to replicate some of the spontaneity. But then @hermanli started streaming the @dragonforcehq live show from Vegas and I got so fired up. I scrapped my original concept prompt because it was boring and then I remembered seeing a Twitter interaction where @kekai_kotaki was giving @andrewkmar a hard time for not drawing a centaur for inktober (which he then drew) and then I knew what I had to do. NO UNDERDRAWING but I did have to redraw the arms and weapons a few times.
