Athena already felt insane enough that she somehow managed to fall in love. The fact that it was with her former student and his wife was somehow more insane. And yet the peak of insanity was the fact that she had somehow found a way to be able to lay with both of them sexually without compromising her maidenhood.
And it was only fitting that it barely took any time at all for the mortal king and queen to find a way to drive her to that level of insanity without breaking any sort of restrictions.
