Neoptolemus' kids
Molossus was always a mama's boy at heart, at one point he DID love Neo and admire him his father was a hero after all how couldn't he? but as he got older he started to realize the reason Andromache would spend multiple nights in a row crying where she thought no one could see her was because of his father he gradually began to resent Neo and the fact Neo never made any effort to even pretend like he cared about Molossus and would straight up tell him that he wasn't his father to his face whenever Molossus would try to get his father's attention even though he looked exactly like him also added to Molossus' resentment of his father, safe to say when he heard Neo died he felt more relieved than anything, he was very happy to accept Helenus as a father figure when he came to Epirus since he still remembered Helenus from before Neo sent him off to Epirus and he already recognized Helenus as a good man and Helenus treated him like he was his actual son for as long as he lived under his care, Andromache's relationship with Molossus is a bit complicated cause while Molossus loves Andromache and she loves him back she can't bring herself to look at Molossus because of how similar he looks to Neo and how much pain having him caused her, Molossus knows this and as much as he wished that he wasn't a cause of pain for his mother he blames Neoptolemus for his mother's inability to care properly for him far more than her, when they still lived in Phthia he would try to take care of Pielus himself and he tried to be more independent since he was still very young to help his mother out because it pained him to see how much she suffers, also while Andromache does find the way Molossus is always taking such good care of his siblings sweet she can't help but be reminded of Hector and how he would constantly look after his siblings.
Pielus was very young when Neo died so he doesn't remember him that much but he still knows that he is his actual father and he hates Neo just as much as Molossus does, he looks pretty similar to Andromache for the most part with the addition of his eyes being the same as Neo's, when he first came to Epirus he didn't have any prior memories of Helenus so it took him a while to trust him and he refused to acknowledge him as a father figure for the good part eventually he did warm up to Helenus and start trusting him when he realized that Helenus wasn't anything like his father and he genuinely was goodhearted(Helenus jumped with joy the first time Pielus referred to him as "dad"), Andromache's relationship with Pielus again is complicated because while Pielus doesn't look as horribly similar to Neo as Molossus does, when he was a kid he was very troublesome and often got into fights and was a lot more violent than other kids his age and often acted out and she couldn't help but see Neo in those behaviours, Pielus loves his mother and she does too but again it's hard for her to love him.
Pergamus has no memories of Neo, he genuinely thinks he is the biological son of Helenus since Andromache was still pregnant with him when Neo died, no one has the heart to tell him that Neo is his actual father and not Helenus so it takes him A WHILEEEEE til he finds out(and I imagine him finding out in the most comedic way ever but that's a convo for another day), Pergamus looks exactly like Andromache so he doesn't really have any reason to suspect that Helenus could not be his real father after all (he does like to bully Molossus for being "adopted" because of how different he looks than the rest of them though but he doesn't actually think he's adopted since Molossus just gaslights him into thinking Hecuba is ginger and pale and green eyed and that he just looks like Hecuba), Pergamus was the easiest for Andromache to love since he looked exactly like her and acted like her, while the fact of who his father was did pain her it was a lot better of a situation than with Molossus or Pielus + she also got to raise him while being in a far safer environment than before with the help of someone she loves and trusts(Helenus) so Pergamus is her favourite to me out of her kids with Neo(out of her kids in general the favourite is Cestrinus no doubt), the only time she ever saw Neoptolemus in was during the sack of Teuthrania, I like to think seeing her son burn a helpless city to the ground and kill it's king just like a certain someone did to Troy made her feel miserable more than anything that she could never escape Neo and that he continues to haunt her through their children years after his death.
Bonus hc: Molossus, Pielus, Pergamus and Cestrinus all have a pet dog who Helenus brought home one day because the dog kept following him around and every time he tried to politely push her away she gave him sad puppy eyes so he felt bad took her home(the dog is actually Hecuba but none of them know that since she can't talk)
Orestes' kids:
Tisamenus has a very strained relationship with his dad, he was far closer to Orestes when Hermione was still alive and even then he was always a mama's boy and loved his mother dearly, when she died Tisamenus was completely grief stricken because he loved Hermione sm, he started to resent Orestes when he remarried to Erigone cause he couldn't understand how his father could so easily just move on and find another woman after Hermione died, he grew up seeing his parents as the pinnacle of love and he knew of how his father had killed just so he could be with his mother and yet Orestes just moves on?? Just like that?? He saw Orestes remarrying to Erigone as Orestes never really having cared about Hermione at all even though he did care about her and he was still grieving her even after he married Erigone, Tisamenus also never accepted Erigone as a motherly figure and neither did she try to be one for him, when Orestes died Tisamenus tried to push away any grief he felt over his father's death since to him he thought Orestes didn't care about Hermione's death so why should he care about his? Orestes did try to be a good father to Tisamenus, or at least the best he could be but nothing he did could stop Tisamenus from hating him for marrying another woman.
Dion has the best relationship with his father out of his siblings imo, he was a kid when Hermione died since I imagine him being a decade younger than Tisamenus so he doesn't have many memories of her and while he was upset over his mother's death he wasn't as attached to her as his older brother was, he was far more willing to accept Erigone as a mother figure than Tisamenus was however again Erigone did not intend to act motherly towards him at all so Dion was always closer to Orestes since his biological mother wasn't around for much of his life and his step mother didn't care much for him.
Penthilus' relationship with Orestes is complicated, he doesn't hate him like Tisamenus does and neither is he close with him like Dion is, Penthilus was always close to his mother and Erigone would often try to paint Orestes as being a lot worse than he actually is and trying to get her son to hate his father and perhaps even kill him to make up for the fact Orestes killed her parents and siblings after all being killed by his son the same fate he subjected Clytemnestra too feels almost poetic doesn't it? However no matter how hard Erigone tried Penthilus could never hate his father and definitely no where near enough to even consider killing him as much as Erigone would've liked for that to happen, even though Erigone could never convince Penthilus to hate his father or kill him she did try to make Penthilus scared of Orestes by telling him that one day his father could kill him since Penthilus was Clytemnestra (on both sides ig....) and Aegisthus' grandson after all and could pose the threat of one day trying to avenge his grandparents, and while Orestes would have never even considered hurting his son let alone trying to kill him like Clytemnestra had tried to do to him once before it did work at making sure Penthilus always stayed cautious and distant from his father til his death scared of the possibility of his own father trying to hurt him like his mother told him would happen.
Bonus hc: Tisamenus loves both of his little brothers a lot after all Dion is his heir and Penthilus co ruled Mycenae with him at one point before going off to lesbos but with Penthilus specifically I imagine their relationship as Penthilus was the cat Tisamenus SWORE he didn't want then proceeded to get attached to, also since Tisamenus never has any kids of his own in any source I imagine that he likes to babysit his nieces a lot since he doesn't rlly have any kids of his own to look after(saying just nieces because I like to HC Penthilus' sons weren't born til after Tisamenus' death)
Telemachus' son:
This is a short section since Telemachus only has one kid thank u Telly for this but I imagine Persepolis grew up being constantly spoiled by Telemachus since Telemachus was always worried of failing as a father and accidentally making his son feel neglected like how he felt about Odysseus' absence and he tries so hard to make up for the fact Odysseus was never around for him for so much of his life and tries his best to be the best father he can be to his son that he ends up spoiling Persepolis to the point he's practically incapable of lecturing him or telling him off, Polycaste was definitely the disciplinary of the family because with her husband's 100% top tier parenting skills Persepolis would've been world's most spoiled brat, I like to think that Persepolis loves both his parents but he loves his dad more.
Bonus hc: even though Poliporthes is Persepolis' uncle they have more of a sibling relationship than that of an uncle-nephew one since Poliporthes is only like one year older than Persepolis "I'm your uncle you should respect me!!" "girl we're practically almost the same age what are you on about??"
