I haven’t worked on machines from the Pentium 4 era in ages.
Newer hardware? Of course.
Vintage and generally older computers? It’s my main hobby.
But the P4 era is sort of a red-headed step-child of old computer tinkering. It elicits fond memories for some, and strong dismissal from others, with the vast majority simply not caring. I get that. In many ways, it’s unremarkable and mostly interchangeable. I also have a specific technological niche to fill, so might as well do it up right.
