Alicia: Ricordo perfettamente cosa ti ho detto. Ho ricordato dei fatti e ne ho tratto delle conclusioni logiche. Puoi negarlo?

Eric: Dei fatti che sono accaduti molti anni fa e che non mi piace ricordare. Non nego che fosse vero, ammetto che ogni cosa che hai detto è successa, è vero. Ma tanti anni fa. Per questo prima ho detto che offendi per sentirti migliore. Non ti sembra sbagliato?

Alicia: Il passato non si cancella. Se tu non riesci a fare pace con quello che eri, non è colpa mia. Tra offendere e giudicare c’è una bella differenza. Io valuto le persone in base ai fatti, non importa se recenti o risalenti a chissà quando. Le persone non cambiano.

Eric: Sei in torto. Le persone cambiano. E non bisogna mai giudicare una persona dal suo passato, bensì dal suo presente. Ed è quello che ho fatto io con te. Ho cercato di essere simpatico e mi hai risposto con arroganza e cattiveria: per questo ti giudico come poco fa ti ho detto. Perché così sei, a quanto pare. Così sei adesso.
