Go for a coffee with me and I'll explain that my desire to stop environmental impact has no ulterior motives. Yeah, lots promise but seriously...I really don't genuinely know how I'd be making coin here lol. I'm not that clever. Lots can attest to this, sadly. I first heard about global warming in 2000 when scientists were on the cover if my local paper saying we need to take action. Trump was just the "you're fired" guy at the time (if that had happened yet 🤔). Anyways now we're here. The smoke is worse than last year. I remember neither this or "heat waves" like we've had, while growing up here in #yyj and in the #LowerFraserValley (#Langley specifically). I mean yeah, I was a kid but I hate hot weather. Via @democracynow: “In Alabama, an African-American teenager named Lakeith Smith has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the murder of 16-year-old A’Donte Washington—even though it was a police officer who shot and killed the teenager in 2015. Lakeith Smith was tried and convicted under Alabama’s accomplice law, which allows authorities to prosecute people for murder if a death occurs in the midst a felony. He and A’Donte Washington were, along with other teens, allegedly carrying out a burglary when a police officer opened fire and killed A’Donte Washington. He is a teenager whose life is now ruined. He definitely should be charged for attempted theft but 65 years is outrages! (I am aware the article says 30 but he just recently turned down a plea deal.
