I have never mastered the art of cooking a steak. It's not a dish I was brought up with so have never really seen it being cooked properly, and despite being told how to do it, I just don't get it. So I do my best with limited knowledge. I purchased some peppered steak from a local butcher. Wrapped each piece individually and placed it onto a hot sandwichmaker. It took around 4 minutes to cook properly. It was moist and tender.

When the steak was cooked, I sliced it and placed half back onto the sandwichmaker, to cook a bit longer to the "well done" stage.
