Year 3, Cook Off

My competitors in this years' Autumn Cook Off were Lloyd, Gabriel, and Harold!

My hubby Lloyd cooked up his signature Bouillabaisse.

Gabriel once again brought his Omelet Rice.

Harold presented his Curry.

And I brought a 7-Star Fried Matsutake Mushroom dish.

AND FINALLY, AFTER THREE YEARS, I WON THE COOK OFF!!!!

MONICA: “So how do you guys feel about kind of laying a bunch of groundwork and being icons in the LGBTQ community? Does that feel super empowering?”

LUCY: “We were very lucky to have been there at the beginning of this new way.”

MONICA: “Normalizing same-sex relationships. I think that’s awesome. Do people connect with you guys a lot about that?”

RENEE: “Absolutely. I’m so fortunate. I have a 15 year old girl and honestly all her friends - guys and girls - just feel so accepted nowadays. So anyway, yeah, it’s better than it’s ever been. I’m sure there’s a long way to go.”
