Dave’s baby peppers he planted from seed. Our Porch buddies for the next month or so. He hardens them off about a month. He brings them out on sunny days like this and puts them inside every night. Then they go in the greenhouse and outside garden. He likes to let the stems get strong and thick. Otherwise something eats the stems off at the ground every time. Any guesses? Cutworms? Slugs? Once the peppers are established they do fantastic without much help. But starting from seed definitely is more of a commitment than buying starts. It’s fun though and you get to pick out your own seeds. These are Tiburons and Krimson Lee peppers. Great for roasting.
