Alabaster wants to kill Percy but is also so drawn to and fascinated by him that he can't help playing with his food, Percy meanwhile is having some Feelings awoken by this whole situation but buries them because he loves Annabeth and wants to remain loyal to her, which kind of irks Al until he follows Percy home to her and is like "Actually. i get it" and now has two targets
Percethabaster but the dynamic is Ethan trying to keep the peace between the two boys he loves, Percy having a blast pulling on Al's tail and Al foaming at the mouth with rage and frustration because the only reason he hasn't killed Percy by this point is because his boyfriend likes him. Then Al gets extremely frustrated for a different reason which is that now he's catching feels for his boyfriend's boyfriend who he is determined to hate.
