my toxic trait is that I believe that if I love Maximus enough, one day he’ll come to me and return my love. like Linus in “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” with his sincerity + pumpkin patch beliefs
#this post is for a very specific target audience but if you know you know#currently perched on my little fence waiting for maximus to emerge from the shadows and carry me off to be his little wife#I WANT IT SO BAD I’M YEARNING SO FREAKING BAD I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE#i’m hallucinating him riding up on his white horse and sweeping me up with him#carrying me off to his home in spain where i become his beloved wife and the mother of his children and the mistress of his home#we work beside each other in the fields and snuggle up together in bed at night#and we’re always happy and nothing bad ever happens a single day in our lives#but?? you know what????#i wouldn’t even care if bad things happened as long as they didn’t happen to him#because as long as i have him there’s no bad thing that could take away my joy#he’d be my smile when i awake and my peace when i fall asleep#my joy in the daytime and my serenity in the night#my sweet ocean breeze and my magnificent starry sky#everything i dream of plus every wonderful thing my mind can’t conjure#oh how sincere my love is for him#oh how sincere is my pumpkin patch#and if i love him enough!! perhaps!!!! perhaps!!!!#he will hear my sorrow across the universe and come to me!!!#perhaps we will cross the boundaries of space and time and reality and find each other like we’re meant to!!!#perchance!!!#anyway back to my normally scheduled programming#gladiator#maximus#maximus decimus meridius#gladiator 2000#russell crowe#text posts
