I swear i almost go into cardiac arrest when you say you love hearing my song recommendations. because god I love music and I love you so why wouldn’t I love to share music with you? but I think everytime im showing you a new song and your face lights up or you have to pause a conversation with someone to comment on how a part of it sounded. im immediately transported back to my parents bedroom a weekend in august. ghost dropped a single or something, I can’t remember. as soon as I heard it I knew I had to share it with you. I’m still not entirely sure why, maybe it is just my love for both you and music that I needed to combine it i guess. but i played stay by ghost on my speaker. I don’t remember why or how but we were laying next to each other on the floor. I remember the chorus playing kind of. you were listening to the chorus, but i was watching you. I knew I loved you for a while, probably a few months after I met you. but laying next to you on that beige carpet made me realize that back then I thought I loved you. laying next to you on that carpet made me realize that I knew I loved you. I mean, fuck. we weren’t the only ones in the house, we weren’t the only ones in the room. but I swear in that moment it was just you and me.
