Mac and Percy (Cakes' moms, my OCs) sketches I did as warm-ups last night. I don't usually use references cuz I find it hard to translate them into my style. But I think it's time I tried anyway!

[☕ - Coffee or tea? 🎁 - How do they feel about their birthday/birthdays in general? 🤡 - What’s something dumb they’re embarrassed about?] Percy & Mac Baker!

Percy: ☕- She'll drink black coffee and anything bitter! She likes sweets in moderation. A simple muffin or danish is enough in the morning, accompanied by the bitter drink! 🎁- She doesn't feel much about her birthday. It's just another day to her. For others she'll get something nice and thoughtful. 🤡- When Cakes was little she and Mac were often very, very tired. One day she was trying to make Mac a coffee and she was so exhausted that she put salt in it instead of sugar. Well! It certainly woke her wife up!

Mac: ☕- Both! As long as it has sugar and the sweetness covers the bitter taste, she'll drink whatever! 🎁- She doesn't like her birthday. She worries about getting older and what that means for her, for Percy, for her little one. She'll celebrate, but you can tell the smile isn't genuine. In general, she loves gift-giving! So, she enjoys doting on others. 🤡- When she was little she used to climb trees all the time. Her entire outfit would get so dirty and cut up on branches. Her parents would scold her for ruining the outfit and all the work they did to get her so dolled up. One day her parents were calling her in for dinner and she refused to come in from playing. Her parents said that one day she'd fall if she wasn't careful. After proudly declaring that she would never fall, that she was the best tree-climber ever... she fell. Luckily no major damage. Mainly just scratches, but it was certainly embarrassing. Even now!

How do they show their affection?] Percy Baker! 🌱- Percy's good at listening to Mac tell her when she's supposed to water lmao. Percy can handle plants like succulents and cacti because she forgets to water unless reminded. So, with some help,, she's a green thumb! But in general, not really... 💓- When Percy got a crush on Mac, it was quick. Percy's level-headed and calculated in almost everything she does... except love. She might seem like she knows what she's doing, but she's just as clueless and nervous. She'll try to impress her love interest by taking them to fun, fancy places. She'll try to show them how cool she is, how happy they could be together. It's almost like she feels like she has to convince people to like her. Her voice will get softer, she'll smile into her hand and flash a look that's unable to be misunderstood. She's having fun...
