Professor Riddle. Art for Peremo.

I know, it's unusual fic choice for me, because I don't like Tomione or any M/F pairings and I'm Tomarry/Harrymort shipper. I've read only Blood and Gold and Peremo outside of my comfort zone. Buuuuuuut... But I liked Peremo so much! As ObsidianPen said, there's no romance between Tom and Hermione and I can recommend this fic even for Tomarry shippers or those who don't like Tomione if you want to see murderous, hot, and unhinged Tom.

Its been so long since I have seen a Peremo ask so here I am, warning for spoilers;

How did Tom and Hermione and their son end up living their lifes in the end? do they grow domestic? Alsooo did Tom come back to her cus boy is the lover who likes trapping their partners between four walls or was there prior motives (ALSO FORGIVE ME MOTHER IF U HAVE ALREADY GIVEN THE REASON IN THE FIC. I READ PEREMO SO LONG AGO. my short term memory doesn’t help). When was the moment he fell in his twisted for her? how do u think he reacted to having a son after being revived? Tbh I would love if you just wrote anything about it. Also tysm for writing that masterpiece. Your fics are such a treat after a loooong day. I am so very proud and glad to have u in this fandom of ours! AHH--I am excited for your upcoming fic but first do take time for yourself as no pressure. I had rather starve myself before you feed us with those glorious words of urs if it meant you being healthy, happy and well.

Hello my sweetest admirer, and I am sorry for having taken so long to get back to you! Warning for more heavy spoilers below ✨

1. I wouldn’t say I see domesticity for them as much as I see them finding… a routine. For the school breaks, they’d be home where Hermione has (relatively) more freedom, while during the school year, I see Tom bringing his time-traveller with him wherever he goes. For instance, he’s meeting with an important politician? Then you bet he’s bringing her with to find out all she knows about them from the future. I see Hermione having very mixed feelings about these outings.

2. Tom came back for her partially because of the above point— that’s a time traveller. He’s not about to just go and let that advantage go, and let someone else potentially use her against him. Tom is also a believer in signs. He’s tried to kill her so many times and failed— which to him is a sign that he’s not supposed to kill her.

These points tie into the fact that under it all, he likes Hermione… but Peremo Tom is not quite so open with his own emotions to see it that way, because why should he be? He is above emotions, he’s better than that. However, seeing the constant signs around him that he should keep her alive, and being able to use her for her knowledge of the future gives him ‘objective’ reasons of rationalising his choice to keep her with him, which means he can indulge in his desire to be with her. Fate wants them together, so who is he to refuse? And if she comes with his child, all the better. The people love a family man, after all…

3. To Tom, learning of his son after coming back would have only reinforced his above reasoning. He was meant to have a child with her, he was meant to have her around him, have a family and use them. It would have only made his own failures easier to rationalise to himself, and the message from fate would’ve been more than clear: no WONDER he couldn’t kill her… because this is what he was supposed to do instead.

4. Finally, I like to think he fell for her somewhere around her killing Mulciber… it just took him a little longer to convince himself he could have her.

Okay, so I sort of fell into the rabbit hole that is Fanfics about Tom Riddle. Never thought I'd get to the point where I'd be like yeah, Voldemort could be a hot bad guy, but here I am, seeing the appeal.

Anyway, any recommendations for fanfics about Tom Riddle/Lord Voldemort being a dad? I mean like Azula-level (/ATLAB) crazy family dynamics where Tom is the Big Bad and hey, meet his crazy murderous daughter (or son, too. I guess).

I am in love with gold foil HTV, it still does not quite LOVE me back, BUT we will get there… If anyone has any recommendations for good gold foil HTV please let me know - I am currently using Siser Metal.

This was such a fun exchange, and I got to bind two of my favourite stories. If you haven’t delved into Tomione yet… What are you waiting for?!
