Adventures in Retail, part ?
Yesterday at work one of our regular customers, an older guy I'd put at about in his seventies, said, "I'm gonna ask a question and I hope I don't come off as a lecherous old man, but you have a perfect neck, have you ever modeled?"
...
By the way, my work uniform is a fairly high-necked t-shirt, plus I wear a mask at the store, so I feel like my neck is kind of obscured, so this comment was definitely a new one for me.
I told him no. He asked if I had kids and I said no, and he said, "You'd better hurry up and have them!"
And I said no again, but more emphatically this time.
I would have let it slide if not for the kids thing. Why do men feel like they can tell women they don't know that they should have kids?
Told the evening cashiers about it and one said, "Not gonna lie, he's not wrong, you low-key have a great neck." 😂
My husband's response?
Or as @bugs-are-buddies put it:
