On the upside I may have found the rope to drag me out of the 1D pit that I’ve been in for three and a half years. On the downside I’ve fallen directly into the neighboring pit and I’m very sad now.
Uh, what's happened?
We've gone round four with scandals and 1D, and this is probably the worst of the lot. (Harry, Niall, Zayn, and Liam have all had individual scandals ranging from blackface to swearing at fans to cheating and abuse.I can't think of a Louis-specific one off the top of my head, atm? There's probably one floating around somewhere. It's sort of insane when you think of the fact that all of these have happened in the span of a year or so.)
A video was "leaked" of Zayn and Louis smoking weed, talking about drugs (potentially harder drugs, the slang they used is debatable), using racist and sexist slurs, being asshats about their fans/fanbase/careers, and generally being fucking idiots.
I haven't watched the video, because I am not comfortable dealing with this at the moment, but people are both freaking out over what it could mean for their careers/them as people and the fact that apparently it seems sort of staged.
IDK, if they can keep the band members' locations secret for months on end, I'm fairly certain they can contain a video that looks like Louis or one of his good friends took, so I'm approximately 80% certain that the video might be legit but it was probably leaked as a publicity stunt. To what end, I don't know, but I don't think anything good is coming out of this situations.
