I would say drop it, if you think it's going to help even a little bit. Since its not a required course maybe you could say "I'd like to drop (or switch) this course so that I can better focus on my relevant ones" or if you decide to switch to a new one say "I want to switch to a class that is necessary so I get more knowledge in my field"? I don't know the exact situation but... Idk, hope it helps :/

This is actually super helpful! I’ve decided to change my major recently and this class was required for it. Part of my reason for changing majors is because this class helped me realize that I don’t really enjoy art things enough to dedicate my life to it and since it’s really contributing to a lot of my issues with burnout I think it’s better to drop it rather than suffer through a semester. Thank you again! It really means a lot!!

8. How long do they last?

Oh gosh. The longest of my current ones has been around 6 years. I average a few years of time with them. I’ve had odd ones that last longer or shorter or come and go, so it varies a lot. But usually I’m in for the long haul.

5. Infodump about one of them !!!!!!

This got long so here’s a break

OH JEEZ! THIS IS EXCITING. Okay. Okay. So like, Red vs Blue may be my main special interest but I’m not gonna infodump right now about all my shit but I literally might soon after I post this because now I’m excited. So, I’m going to talk about Youtube and the impact it has on other media outlets because that shit fascinates me? And also Gaming and LPers. I mean, this is just what I’ve observed happen over the years, but like Youtube was completely written off as not a valid form of entertainment and as a non equal platform to other outlets like television and I’ve been watching it slowly become like the mainstream thing to the point where people really don’t watch TV anymore? And like in hopes to stay relevant so many different parts of society and entertainment have tried to emulate what’s being put out on things like Youtube or talk about them, when just a few years ago it was such a distanced platform, that no one acknowledged and now it’s like. Youtubers are the real celebrities that are being brought on to shows and being talked about. 

Especially the whole Let Player phenomena, which I personally love. It was such a foreign concept and it still is to some degree, to watch people play video games, but it never was to me? Like when I was a kid, I didn’t have the skills or fine motor controls to play video games well so I ended up watching my dad play a lot and trying to imitate him later (unsuccessfully but still) and so when LPers happened it was just the same thing, except I was also getting an idea of what the product was and was able to still enjoy new games when I was unable to afford them and sometimes getting a review or some entertaining commentary. A lot of people, still on the outside perspective, think it’s stupid waste of time and I still think the whole sport metaphor is the only way to have them understand it, like they watch people play football rather than play it themselves kinda thing. 

Another thing about Youtube is the recent over saturation it’s been experiencing. As Youtube becomes greater and more of a mainstream form of entertainment that ANYONE can sign up for, everyone wants to be a Youtuber. Not for fun, but so they can be famous and be the next Markiplier or Shane Dawson or whoever else is a big deal. And when it started out, it was an equal playing field for anyone to find success on it, but nowadays. There are so many people fighting for a chance, fighting to be relevant and get the subs they signed up for, that a lot of people get lost in the fray, a lot of genuinely creative individuals. Another problem lies in the fact that people crank out the same content over and over again, basically create carbon copies of their favorite Youtubers and that’s what gets pushed to the forefront rather than new creative ideas. There’s a lot. Like a lot of things I can talk about but this has been on mind lately, with meeting Shane Dawson and the dialogues I’ve been having with people viewing this Youtube phenomena from the outside in a dismissive manner, not even realizing how it affects the old fashioned entertainment they enjoy. Sorry if this is incoherent in any way, I type fast and don’t ever have the attention span to correct long pieces of writing.

Tbh the last unicorn had good character design too bad it's animation budget was 2$ and a paperclip and that was all spent on ocean montages

Oh are we talking abt ghosts? The back of my gmas house (especially the master bed and bath) always feel really heavy to me, I walk in and my ears start ringing, even if the doors have been open, it's really weird (doors also slam in this house, so)

I also am really sensitive to sound, I have a si of music/musicals kinda so I have a bunch memorized that I play through my head to distract myself, I dunno how helpful this is but maybe others could do something similar?
