Dug out some paths today in the food forest. Tarp was down for two months - digging was a breeze! One pass with a Broadfork, marked the paths and beds, and dug out the paths. This field is encroached upon by an industrious beaver and the marsh that follows. By digging the paths and sloping it towards the drainage ditches, I hope to help the growing beds dry out earlier in the spring. The beds will never be stepped on, and will be no dig!
