okay okay new unhinged theory
so it’s been a couple months-ish since i’ve watched ares so forgive me if i forget details BUT.
basically, it’s known that flynn has some sort of permanence code that allows programs to live in the real world for longer than 29 minutes. that’s what julian’s after, and from what i remember, it’s stated pretty early on that he knows what it is, and is after eve specifically for that.
the thing is…HOW does he know? for this i propose three theories:
it’s just a plot hole and i need to not worry about it
eve maybe knew sam and therefore, knew who quorra was/where she came from, and kinda dodged around the fact that quorra was how she knew about the code in the first place whenever someone asked her about it
alan bradley decided to jailbreak his dear program after the events of legacy and the media got a hold of it and EVERYONE found out, so alan disappeared along with tron (which would also kinda cover for the lack of either in ares)
