While Coraleye took it upon herself to familiarize herself with the children of the Curious family, Tycho spent some time catching up with cousin Johnny and his beloved wife, Ophelia.

Ophelia: That girl's got some tricks up her sleeve, Tyke. She even got Forevermore to come out of her shell. Johnny: At a family reunion, too. I wonder what she said to her to get her to talk.

Tycho: [Proudly] Well actually, Coraleye's a skilled medium and spellcaster. Her grandmother taught her mediumship a few years ago because she needed to communicate with the dead for reasons she thought were important at the time. Her whole family's legacy and foundation is actually centered around death and resurrection, so I'm sure they have plenty to discuss.

Johnny: Lovely. [Laughter] Forevermore's fixation on all things death will live on. Ophelia: Looks like we'll be dragging her out of here tonight.

Ophelia: I love what you've done to the place, I hardly recognize it!

Jill: Well yes, Mom and Dad technically left it to both Johnny and myself, so you know... Mi casa es su casa!

Ophelia: Well, ever since my aunt died... the kids have been needing a change of scenery.

Jill: Of course, of course. I'm so sorry about your loss by the way.

Ophelia: Oh, thank you. No need to be sorry, I'm sure she couldn't be happier now! [chuckle]

Jill: And the kids, how are they? How have they been? I'd introduce myself again but they seem to be having so much fun with Lyla, I wouldn't want to interrupt.

Ophelia: Yes of course! Well, Forevermore is finally a preteen now, and she has the sass to prove it. She's very popular in school but has been described as a little... odd. She was very close to Olive, so she has quite a lot of... similar interests.

Then there's little Perpetuum. Such a sweet boy, that one. A sensitive soul, really...

Johnny: He's just like his mom. Always worried about something.
