tonight’s activity check will be posted later than usual. the team is currently unavailable due to unexpected circumstances, so we are unsure exactly what time it’ll go up. what is certain is that it will be posted before midnight because of the delay, if you haven’t completed any posts for activity or only have one qualifying post, you can use the extra time to finish them up and post them before we conduct this week’s activity check.
one more thing we forgot to mention earlier.
over the past week, we've been keeping an eye on the dash and wanted to give everyone a small reminder about reaching out to new members and muses and interacting with them. we potentially may not have new muses join us this week, but we'd still like everyone to keep this in mind moving forward.
we don't expect everyone to be available for in-depth plotting immediately after acceptances every friday. what we do ask is that, when you follow a new muse, you take a moment to send them a welcome message as well. it's a small gesture that can go a long way for new members, especially those who may be getting off to a slower start and may not have their intro up that same night.
please like this post once you've finished reading it so that we know you've seen it. thank you!
the main has been a little quieter than usual while we've been working on a number of things behind the scenes, so we wanted to share a quick preview of what you can expect over the next week or two.
first and foremost, part two of our current event will be posted this weekend! we've been enjoying seeing everyone's take on the first half, and can't wait to see what unfolds with the second half.
secondly, we're also preparing to finally open the point shop this weekend. the full point shop won't be available right away, as we're still working out waiting periods and point amounts for a few categories, but we figured we could open the sectiond we'd settled on. after the point shop opens, we'll also be posting available career opportunities for canon claims, like music production and choreography for any of the quarter three release.
last but not least, we're also planning on adding more information to the group pages. we're still figuring out formatting and exactly what will be added for each group, so we can't tell you what the additional information would be just yet. this will likely be rolled out over the next month since this is lower on our priority list of things we want to implement.
that being said, we may reach out to members in the meantime as we're figuring out what to add to the pages. outside of wonder, our current plan is to not make any major changes to any of the group histories. however, if we do end up considering a change for any of the other groups that could significantly affect a muse, we would reach out before anything is finalized or implemented.
that's all for now! please like this post to show that you've read it. thank you.
based on the results of our poll, we'll be moving forward with creating a discord server over the weekend. as mentioned before, joining the server will be completely optional. we ask that everyone respects each member's decision, and if you're plotting group-related threads or discussing group plans within the server, please also be mindful of the muses belonging to members have chosen not to join.
if you'd like to be added once the server is ready, please send in an IM to the promo blog (@personapromo) with your discord username. we'll send out server invitations through discord dms when everything is set up.
also, there was a delay due to unforeseen circumstances, but we're still diligently working on the point shop! we'll post an update when it's ready to open.
we've finished with the overhaul to the career development system and it can be viewed at this page. we'll begin accepting reserves again at midnight, which is in 24. any reserves sent before then will be invalid.
current reserves may still use the old system for their career claims. once the current reserves are up. the page with the old system will be deleted.
also, our first event was posted last night on @starlinekr! all future events will be posted there, so make sure you're following the blog.
we'll also be putting together a pinned post over the next couple of days. it should make it much easier to stay up to date with everything happening in the group since all of the useful information will be in one place.
and with those acceptances, personarpg is officially open!
the past week has shown us a lot. one of which is that there needs to be some adjustments to the rules and our systems. as we mentioned in an answer earlier, the career development system is undergoing a small overhaul, so until we can get that up and running, we'll be putting a short pause on any new reservations. current reserves may still extend or submit their applications in the meantime. we don't expect this to last longer than 24 hours, but we can't predict the future and may need more time to finishing it.
below the cut are a few of the things we've been working on.
in case anyone noticed, there's been a slight adjustment to the application. it asks for the exact same information as before. we've experience some submissions that either had broken formatting or required us to go in and add information, so we hope with this change it'll be a little easier on our end to read through and process applications.
overnight, we've move the taken claims page to a google document. we believe this may be easier for people to view and navigate rather than scroll through what may eventually become a long page on the blog. we've also included a pending tab where we will also list items that people are purchasing through the regular point shop when that becomes available.
as mentioned last night, we're doing a small overhaul to the career development system in consideration to the in-game point system. since there ended up being more things we needed to work out than we expected, the point shop will not be opening tonight. we're hoping to unveil both this weekend, but the latest would be next week's acceptance.
with the changes to the point systems, we're likely going to be a little more strict with career development claims. as a result some new rules are going to be put in place. we've put a variation of one of the new rules on the existing page: all reference claims must have occurred before july 2026 to be used for the career development system. the rule on the overhaul will be different, but we've put this one, which is a closer match to the current system, up there just in case we don't get the point system up before the first.
what will be taking place effective immediately: we're going to be more strict with applications and reserves that come in. we've asked in our guidelines for reserves to list the faceclaim’s full name and their group or occupation, the desired group and all roles listed in the position. any reserve we receive that doesn't follow this will be deleted out of our inbox. we've also clarified this in the application, so the information should not be missing. if it is, we will ask for you to resubmit your application to include the information required.
we've also moved the application cutoff time from 3pm to 12pm. this way, if we run into any needed issues that need to be fixed prior to opening, muns have more time to make adjustments and we have enough time to properly review applications and any changes that were made.
we've decided to implement the same rule as we did for the soft opening. following this acceptance, to be included in the week's acceptance, your blog must be set up with links to your muse's profile, claims page, and tracker. if it's not ready by 6:00 pm eastern on the day of acceptance, you will have to wait until the next acceptance.
these are just a few of the things we are working. we'll come back with another announcement if there are any further changes being made.
thank you all for being so patient with us. happy opening everyone!
it's after 3:00pm, so any applications received after this point will be placed on the next app count for next week's acceptance. this also means that the two muse bonus and the +20 career development points for female muse bonus are both no longer valid.
we are still honoring those bonuses for any reserves that were made prior to this post, but it will not apply to any reserves made after it.
there will a post after acceptances detailing some of the changes we're looking to implement and some that have already been implemented.
