my dad does this great thing where he gets irritated if i don't want to take his unwarranted advice because he's my father and i need to "recognize his authority," but at the same time he ignores or shrugs me off when i actually ask for his support or guidance. so.... that's cool.

I’ve spent so long packing and worrying about college, and suddenly I’ve hit this weird nirvana?? 

as long as I keep working I can pay for college, its pretty cheap. if I get good grades I can get scholarships, I’ll be ok. 

I’m only taking 3 (maybe 4?) classes, the workload will be ok, and as long as I get help and buckle down Ill be ok with essays and things like that. 

i’m excited about my school, the campus is great! (theres a SUSHI place ON CAMPUS) 

I actually feel like I’m gonna be ok.

i had a dream that i was getting mocked on reddit and they found out about my emphasis and started mocking johnston and its “special snowflake majors” and said we were “triggered” by traditional college and then they made like....an article about it? just talking about johnston? idk man it was weird and i don’t know where it came from
