How have you guys been dealing with the hiatus? Found any new shows to fill the void?
I’ve been watching a lot of live-action series (Twin Peaks!), mini-series (Big Little Lies!), and films as of late actually. I’ve got nothing new in my animation toolbox to speak of, but if anyone has any recommendations feel free to throw them at my personal inbox over here :D

Ah okay! I’m very excited post-Stevenbomb as we’ve got still plenty to unpack and plenty more to look forward to!
It’s also the super busy season at my office right now, so if I don’t respond back to an ask right away, or don’t make a video review for this bomb (and the one previous DX) it’s probably because I’m too tired, or just caught up in dumb work junk.
But believe me, I’m very happy to have this outlet to talk about stuff that isn’t something I have to deal with in my every day. This is a really nice escape to have when I can get it <3

I was wondering if you were going to do an Adventure Time - Islands review for your youtube channel? More specifically about how you feel about Finn finding the last of the humans, Susan and Beemo finding their calling. Really deep stuff. Also any new plans for Attilee on animation? No rush, I know adulthood takes precedence. Hope all is well!
Hey it’s all good. I’ve been promoting my videos on here lately (which granted, most if not all are Steven related so it works)
I am admittedly at least a season to two seasons behind on Adventure Time, it is the worst and I’ve been meaning to catch up for a while now and I’ve inserted other media along the way instead. So, at the moment I have no plans to cover that upcoming special mainly due to the fact that I am just too behind on the series as a whole! But that’s awesome to hear about BMO and Susan- they’re two of my favorites from the show.
As for Attilee on Animation- I just put out a special for this year’s Oscars on animated nominees! It’s basically a quick look at each short or feature and my general thoughts on them. Not as in-depth as I typically go when I have just one feature or director to work with, but a great cheat sheet for anyone looking to go into this year’s Oscars with a pretty good gauge of the animation categories!
Upcoming I’m hoping to do some videos on the return of Samurai Jack on Adult Swim, Animation Mockbusters, a feature on why I LOVE Motorcity, and a focus on animated documentaries like “Tower”
Plenty of ideas churning right now, and with Steven Universe’s apparent hiatus upcoming I’ve got loads of time to dedicate to more videos on animation outside my favorite current animated series.

Attail where did you hear about the new update for animal crossing? Also, what is coming in the update?
I actually heard about it through a Let’s Play by Mortem3r Kitty Kat Gaming- but can confirm it here and here
It largely will be adding amiibo functionality to the game, but what those amiibo figures will do in the game is a bit of a mystery now! In an encouragement for players to come back towns with the update will all be weeded for free so that’s kind of nice if you (like me) have been neglecting your game for a bit!
