A(n) [x] referential term that denotes some level of personal connection to the user. It does not inherently have ties platonicitism, though it can if the user decides such. It is closer to an alternative for 'friend', like 'mutual', 'ally', and 'associate', than a one for one replacement. Like friend is should only be used with permission.
