Are you staying home from work/school?
Nope. No days off if you already work from home. But I’m grateful to not be laid off — DEEPLY grateful :(
If you’re staying home, who’s there with you?
It’s just me, the usual solo goblin.
Are you a homebody?
Absolutely. My dream is to live in a place that has a yard so I can literally stay put as much as possible.
What movies have you watched recently? What shows are you watching?
A few things I’ve seen over the last 4-6 weeks
Movies:
The Gentlemen was fun — I know Guy Ritchie is very one note, but it’s a fun note I have a soft spot for.
How did NOBODY tell me what a love story Hustlers is?
I also tried to watch Bombshell but even an outstanding performance by Charlize Theron couldn’t make me sympathize with Megyn Kelly 🙄
And I saw bits and pieces of Birds of Prey — i enjoyed Margot Robbie and it was great to see Rosie Perez, but I’m.... over comic-book movies, I think.
TV:
Better Call Saul — I swear to god, nothing better happen to Kim or I’ll burn this entire place to the ground
One Day at a Time — wholesome family multi-camera sitcom that’s actually decent? Thank you writers and Norman Lear, and thank the gods for the gift that is Rita Moreno!
Brooklyn Nine Nine — the only primetime comedy left I care about since The Good Place ended
Also, honorable mention to Community — my obsession show, the One Show to Rule Them All, my Happy Place™... now on Netflix, so pls watch if you haven’t already (and don’t forget, there was a gas leak in season 4 so nobody can be held accountable for their actions that year)
An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled? Meh... nothing really. I had no big plans, except hoping I’d maybe get to take a long weekend in May
What music are you listening to?
Podcasts are the new music. Seriously, I envy the people who have the time or attention span to listen to “new music”... I only ever get that chance now when I’m driving, and there’s not much of that happening.
What are you reading?
Work shit. Twitter. Tumblr. Articles from Twitter and Tumblr. More work shit... There’s no such thing as reading for pleasure anymore.
