For the ask game (if you still do that!) 25: role model?
25. Role Model
I have a few role models but I’ll narrow it down to three! Alice Paul, Stephen King and Annie Liebovitz, not perfect but give/gave everything for their cause/their art.

Well team! The news is finally OUT! My journalism loving heart and ever curious brain have a new project launching ... the @workinprogress #WorkInProgress podcast! I’ve been hard at work on this project for the last few months, interviewing some of my personal heroes (like @gloriasteinem and @lisalingstagram) and some of the coolest people I know (like @jayshetty, @chelseahandler, and @karamo) and I can finally share it with all of you! Hosting a podcast has always been a dream of mine, and at the start of the year I set out to make it a reality. And here we are. The first episode drops Tuesday. I can’t stop pinching myself. You can subscribe at http://apple.co/workinprogress (link in bio) or wherever you listen to podcasts. This is a space to get personal, professional, and even political (shocker, I know 😜) and it has been one of the most fulfilling, fun, and inspiring things I’ve done over the course of my career to date. I can’t wait for y’all to enjoy it with me! Thanks to each and every one of you who’s pushed me to do this. I heard you loud and clear. Be sure to follow along at @workinprogress here on IG, so you’ll always have the latest updates. Here. We. Go! ♥️🤓🎙📚🎉
I went to Garden Lodge about two weeks ago and I’ve been trying to sort out my feelings since then. I thought: “Before going back to Italy I want to go to Garden Lodge to greet Freddie” (I’ve been working in London from January until May and I am going back to Italy on Thursday). On my way to his house I wasn’t expecting much, it’s only the front door right? But when I arrived in front of the house I was overwhelmed by a feeling I can’t describe. It was like being punched in your heart, literally. I took the photo, and I stayed just a minute mentally thanking him for everything he did for me and every fan through his music. I grew up listening to Queen and his solo work thanks to my older sister: she is a fan so I eventually followed her since I was six years old.
On my way back home, I wasn’t the same person I was before. I went back home feeling a little bit closer to him, and carrying in my heart that overwhelming and beautiful feeling that I will always hold dear.
