So close, yet so far

(...for context, I have a personal milestone of where I can officially think "I've made it!" on Tumblr once my intro reaches 100 likes lol. I'm weird like that)

That's not okay. At all. That's not okay for my heart.

The thing is, that's not only a number. Those are 2680 people who decided that whatever was coming out of my brain is somehow entertaining and good enough that they decided they want to see more of that. 2680 people who have listened to me at least once and liked what they read. 2680 people who like what I do. Who have listened to my voice. Maybe that sounds dramatic. But it's how I feel. And what that gives me is not possible to describe. It's the biggest honor to me and the biggest possible compliment. Thank you all so incredibly much for being here, for following, supporting and listening. For the memories, the laughs, the time to forget the all-day stress for a second. I wish I could describe my gratitude to its full extend. Thank you. xoxo 🥺🫶🏻💚

I just made a big milestone for myself!

I ate a McDonald’s burger.

Now, how is that a big milestone? Well, I have ARFID, which stands for avoidant restrictive food intake disorder, which makes it hard for me to have a lot of foods. I had never had a McDonald’s burger before, since I had had a burger kind one once and had thrown up because of it. That, in turn, made me anxious about all fast-food burgers.

I’ve recently been trying to expand my pallet beyond raw fish and chicken pot pie, (that’s a joke, I eat more than just raw fish and pot pie) and the McDonald’s burger was a big step for me.

I noticed I only have a dozen pages left on this sketch book, that would make this the 4th book completed.

I’m not sure if I’ll do anything too special for this book, but historically I always tried to experiment with full page drawings, so we’ll see :v
