When Is The Best, Blessed,Honourable,Full Of Good Deeds and Baarakah Month Of RamaDaan.
With the approaching blessed month of Ramadaan, there is a reminder that we should be watching the new moon crescent of Ramadaan at the end of Sha^baan 29th 1439, which is Tuesday 15th May 2018 (1439).
See the picture attached this post for the type of crescent you may see appearing low on the western horizon.
Remember and remind others that scientific accuracy is not an Islamic concern whatsoever. Our only concern in this matter is what is seen by the naked eye of a Muslim witness. Calculations are not an option in any Sunni school, they were abrogated by the Qur’aan, the Sunnah and the unanimity of Muslims.
Al-Bayhaqiyy narrated through ibn Salamah: “While we were at Khaniqin, we received a letter sent by ^Umar Ibn alKhattaab, may Allaah raise his rank. He told us some crescents were bigger than others, so if we sighted the crescent in the daytime, not to break our fast until two trustworthy Muslims testify they sighted it the night before.” Our Master ^Umar not only did not rely on calculations but also ordered the one who sighted the crescent during the day with his naked eyes to not count on it. This is so because such a doing is not the sighting which the Prophet, salla-llaahu ^alayhi wasallam, instructed to abide by nor ordered to follow.
^Umar’ words: “Some of the crescents are bigger than others” are explicit in opposing calculations and invalidating reliance on them.
Wa-llaahu ‘a^lam
The ^awrah (unlawful nakedness).
For the man: the are between the navel and the knees. For the woman: everything except her face and hands. (This is the ruling of Imam ash-Shafi^iyy, May Allaah raise his rank.) What is this new trend of women wearing the scarf and leaving their front part of their head uncovered, so that their hair can show. This is not covering correctly, and not permissible. Everyone must cover their ^awrah, it is an obligation.
طلبُ العلمِ فَريضةٌ على كلِ مُسلم" رواه" البيهقي
The Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said the aforementioned quote.
Which means: “Seeking the [obligatory] religious knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” (Related by al-Bayhaqiyy). This Hadith is authentic according to Al-Hafidh Al-Miziyy RaHimahullah.
Imam At-tirmidhiyy narrated that the Prophet peace be upon him said what means: "The reward of the one who goes to seek the knowledge of the Religion, is similar to the reward of the one who goes to fight in the battlefield for the sake of Allāh."
IT IS BLASPHEMOUS To Deem unlawful that which is known by consensus and by necessity to be halal (lawful), like marriage and selling. If someone deems the above mentioned to be unlawful, in such a case a person becomes a blasphemer. UNLESS this person thought it was haram, and thought that's what the religion states, in such a case this person is not judged as a blasphemer, and is taught what is correct. In brief whoever knows about a matter that is permissible in the religion, and says it's haram blasphemes. Also is blasphemous he who renders lawful what is commonly known among the Muslims to be unlawful (haram) such as adultery, fornication, stealing, or drinking alcohol.. (conditional in all this is the person is aware of the judgments of these matters in the Religion).
