Spell jar for personal power

I made this bad boy for those days (and moments) I’m struggling to give me a little oomph. This one is highly personalised and is focused on the things that I need to feel at my best, and it gives me a nice kick! I also haven’t sealed this jar but if I did, I’d use lime green or pink wax.

I definitely suggest swapping in/out ingredients with correspondences that are relevant to you.

Just for the sake of an example, here’s what was in mine (from bottom to top, in order of what I put in);

Pink himalayan salt - protection

Moonstone - representative of my sun sign in Cancer

Juniper berries - the divine feminine

Cinnamon pieces - I’m a Loki devotee so this was to recognise him

Bay leaf - wealth and prosperity (you could also use this to write a wish for your jar!)

Lavender - peace and protection

Rosebuds - love, sexuality, romance and to recognise Hekate who is another deity I work with

Rose petals - self-love

Spell to Gain Back Personal Power From Someone 💪✨

You’ve gotten yourself hooked on a new person, which would be great if they acted right. They know they’ve got you wrapped around their finger, and they’re getting cocky. You find yourself going mad wondering what they’re doing when they’re leaving you on read, where they are when they flake on you, what their recent text means, who they’re with in their Snap story. You know you’re not crazy, they’re just making you crazy. You feel helpless and that your emotions depend on their actions most of the time. This is a spell to gain back your power from them that will make you remember that you’re the shit, baby girl

Gather: 1 purple candle to heal wounded pride

ironweed for more power over yourself and them 

pokeweed for its purging nature that is symbolic of you purging this negative energy from your spirit

catnip to embody the independent spirit of a feline; to be able to enjoy the company of others, yet still do your own thing

coconut oil

paper

small paintbrush

lighter/matches

This spell would be best performed on a waxing moon, but you could tweak it so you’re removing their control of you if you can't wait until the waning phase is over. 

Using the pokeweed as ink, draw a sigil for regaining your power onto the piece of paper with the paintbrush. Anoint the candle with the oil and catnip and light it. Burn the ironweed in the flame, then the sigil. Visualize yourself no longer worrying about where they are, what they’re doing, or what they mean. Imagine yourself totally relaxed and unbothered. Recite the following:

“ I have allowed you to take my power,

To invade my mind at every hour. 

This shall be no more.

My spell will be the cure. 

My happiness will no longer depend on you.

I will not be affected by everything you do.

I will gain control of the situation

As I say this affirmation:

My strength lies with me,

It’s great enough to set me free.

This is my will, and harm none, so mote it be.”

Say the affirmation to yourself daily until you really feel it to be true. And there you go!
