got a lil silly off that tequila and now im gonna take a nap probably. would take the chicks outside but its humid so i think rain is coming. maybe tomorrow.

woke up to a beast on my floor. nancy, just silently staring at me like "daddy help i made a mistake". i don't think she escaped on purpose lol i think she got too silly and jumped out on accident.

fuckass body still hurts but i did finally get new (to me) dressers. so i dont have to worry abt entire drawers falling out anymore. they were free bc the lady who had them died. which is unfortunate but i am thankful to have them. theyre very nice.

those weird pains im having are worsening i fear. stomach hurt for a long time last night. woke up with less intense but still unpleasant pain just below the ribs. i swear nothing better be going on in there. i do not need more medical bills.

i got some grown-up chicken feed and water things. they glow in the dark for some reason? and were on clearance so. sure why not. im sure the chicks wont mind.

been working on the coop today. cleaned off a bunch of old dirt, fixed/replaced the fencing staples, got it ready to be repainted. now it just needs a new sliding door. tomorrow i'll let the kiddos check it out. they're still too young to be moving in, but they can play in it when it's nice outside.

so ive learned orpingtons dont typically have fluffy feet.. so either my chicks are mixed breed or mislabeled. interesting. probably wont be able to tell until theyre all grown up. not that it matters all that much. but now im curious what they'll turn out to be.
