What is your unique selling point?....
Everyone has one... or many... but strangely, we don’t take the time to identify them for ourselves. More often than not, we allow others to tell us, what they think is our unique selling point.
Whilst it’s good to have another’s perspective... we should take the time to know for ourselves what they are... to allow us to confidently sell them to an employer and not forgetting to benefit our own self development and awareness.
More often than not, we make time to focus on what we can’t do or what we should be doing...
Are you guilty of this? I know, I am....
To overcome this, I proactively work on my mindset and admittedly some days is a little more testing than others to regain control of but I try again the next day and there after. I don’t give up, as it does take time to retrain the brain.
You may find that your unique selling point(s) are seen as a disadvantage to some but a benefit to someone else. It is all about perception and how you thrive, excel and achieve in utilising them.
No matter what it is, it takes commitment, hard work and time to proactively nurture and develop it. Do not allow yourself to become complacent.
Our advice is, when you know what your unique selling point(s) are, take care of them and proactively seek out opportunities to shout them from the rooftops for others to see and benefit from.
