My brother's having major surgery today, for the hernia he got as a result of the crash 3 years ago. Its taken all this time to find a surgeon prepared to do it, as there have been less than a hundred of the type he's got in recorded medical history.

Once this is done, we can finally put that horrific chapter of our lives behind us.

I'm pretty fragile today though. Will be until i hear news

I'm sorry everybody.

I've been woefully absent lately and I don't mean to be. Summer holidays were busy and that was fine, but now it's autumn and I find that all the leisure time I was looking forward to is vanishing before my eyes.

I want to be here with you all. I want to write. I want to read. I want to admire all the wonderful art and stories and thoughts and ideas and just joyfulness that you all bring into the world, but instead it feels like all I can do is just...exist. I have no energy to interact rn.

There's no point to this post really. Please don't feel like you have to react or respond or anything - this isn't a call for help. I just wanted you all to know that I'm still here and I miss you all.

My roommates and I are visiting Ireland and Scotland this week (my first time out of the country!) and I saw a Forbidden Planet so of course I had to go in. Look what I found!!!

As an American I never thought I’d see one in a shop and so, of course, I bought it instantly.

Lately nafe-feel ko talaga na meron at merong genuine people na nadating sa buhay ko that could've made me feel special pero dahil nga, idk parang lagi akong cautious sa lahat or naiisip ko na baka temporary lang din, di ko malabas totally and full blast na ako haha limit lang lahat kaya I felt that I bore the fuck out of them. Tas di ko rin mabuhos talaga how I deeply I felt for them kasi yun lang. La lang
