They are, somehow, even more flamboyant than you may imagine!

Is always very grumpy when people mix-up their name with their sibling’s!

Is definitely not a scam artist.  But does need some of your enchantments in their quest to save the material plane!

Has never experienced attraction, but does wonderful work for their friends, family and community - easily fulfilling their name.

Fury

Actually a very chill monk, who named herself that as a reminder that she should hate injustice.

Parsimonious 

Despite his best efforts, he just can’t stop giving gifts to people.

Also despite his best efforts, people nickname him “Parsnip”

Silence

Despite his parent’s best effort, has become a bard

Vengeance

May or may not be an overgrown angsty teen

Might actually not be all that torn up about the event they’re supposed to dedicate their life towards readdressing

They chose this name to remind themselves to take regular meals

Write or play Mass Effect?

Decisions, decisions...

So, the theme of this year “Ferragosto party” my parents are have been invited to is Harry Potter.

My parents know NOTHING about it. My father was assigned the role of Hagrid and he promptly... bought a blond wig. When showed the photo he went “ahhh... close enough.” My mother was assigned the role of Bellatrix and her first question was: “..Ok, but how elegant and young is this witch?” 

I’m wheezing.  This will be a disaster.

I answer the door looking the way I normally do when I’m working: hair a rat’s nest piled on top of my head, ancient tee shirt complete with stains and holes, faded flannel pajama bottoms (usually plaid), Alice In Wonderland socks, and 10 year old slippers that are falling apart. No makeup, of course (who wears makeup when they’re elbows deep in paint and plaster?) 

My friend, dropping by unexpectedly, stares at me in shock, visibly shaken.

“What’s the matter?” I ask innocently.

“I- I don’t...” he stammers, the gulps and clears his throat. 

“What??”

“I don’t understand...”

“What is it?” I’m feeling little alarms going off inside...

He takes a deep breath and blurts out, loudly: “I don’t understand how a person who can be as attractive as you can, can be so unattractive!”

Oh honey. This is me on a GOOD day.
