Honestly, a lot of swedish communist organisations are really bad. And that’s not really strange, most of them were created in a world where the Soviet Union existed and socialism was an actual geopolitical power. And most organisations are having troubles adapting to a world where socialism supposedly failed. And this has obviously resulted in a lot of new communist (or even more often “leftist”) organisations. But most of them are also really bad and a lot of them exists for a while and then disappears. So what is a socialist supposed to do? Join an existing bad organisation or create their own organisation, which will most likely also be bad and also won’t exist for long? I chose to join an existing organisation, though to be honest I joined a rather new one, created after the fall of the Soviet Union. Not sure if it was the right choice. At least it’s an organisation trying to unite different types of “leftists”, we have som socdems, anarchists, mls, trots and so on. So that is at least some common ground to build on.
