very much so! unsurprisingly, the game is on unofficial hiatus because i'm currently swamped with thesis work (and actual work) but i promise i'm still inching along! I wish there wasn’t so much criteria that you need to meet in order to get a breast reduction on the nhs. Why is it not enough that my mental health suffers because of it? I can’t even look at my own body without wanting to cry. But apparently that’s not enough for me to get a reduction. I can’t afford almost 8 grand to get it done privately, and I shouldn’t have to. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do.

1. How tall are you? 
5'6"

2. What color and style is your hair? 
 Light blonde, blunt bob that ends just below my ears, with straight bangs. I rock a bowl cut, because that’s my jam.

3. What color are your eyes? Dark blue, they look different depending on the light.

4. Do you wear glasses?
 Yes, and I’m blind without them.

5. Do you have braces?
 No but I did in 5th grade. I may be getting something like braces again to realign my jaw though.

6. What is your fashion style?
 Oh my god I could write a novel, like my style is all over the place. The shortest description I can think of is “Neil Gaiman goth meets KPop girl group meets Taylor Swift”.

7. Any freckles/moles/beauty marks? 
Freckles all over the place, mole on my collarbone, one beauty mark on my cheek.

July 25, 1991

The surface of the sun, Florida.

One younger brother.

12. Do you go to school? 
 Currently no! I graduated college in spring, but I’m studying for the GRE so I can go to graduate school next year.

13. What kind of student are you?
 I procrastinate like a MF on writing stuff but I’m a serious student, school is #1 for me when I’m in school. I’ve had to teach myself to put my mental health first sometimes though because otherwise shit hits the fan and I end up crashing and burning at the end of the semester. But I’m that student that’s in the library til midnight every night studying for exams that are three weeks away and who writes an entire research proposal the night before it’s due and gets the best grade in the class. I’m a Giant Nerd™.

14. What are your favorite TV shows?

My all time favorite show is Fringe, I rewatch it frequently. I also like a lot of anime, cartoons, and stuff like CSI, Dexter, and Bones. I love Orphan Black. I pretty much like cartoons or anything that has dead stuff in it. My guilty pleasure is Duck Dynasty.

15. Favorite past time?

This is gonna make me sound like an old lady but honestly I just love sitting outside in the evening on a nice day and drinking tea and reading or enjoying the sound of nature. I also love going to parks or to the swamp (I live near the Everglades) and just walking around by myself or with friends.

So Pokemon Go is obviously a blast for me.

16. What is your dream job?

I would die if I could get a role on Steven Universe. Or be on Broadway. I love singing and I have always wanted to do acting but it just wasn’t possible with the school programs I was in.

My dream job aside from unrealistic dreams is to be a researcher and work at a university or a private organization.

17. Would you like to get married one day; if so, where?

I second Alixie’s “nah”.

18. Would you like kids one day? 
 I will not have kids of my own but maybe someday I’ll adopt.

Depends on the day and how I’m feeling.

20. Do you like shopping? 
I like online shopping and on the off chance that I have extra cash I enjoy going to one of my favorite stores and getting a buncha jeans but shopping at more than one store honestly exhausts me.

21. What countries have you visited so far? 
I’ve never left the United States. I want to go to Japan and New Zealand really bad.

22. What’s the scariest nightmare you’ve had? 
I have nightmares frequently but I don’t usually remember them after I wake up. I’ve had a recurring one since I was a kid where I’m hiding with my family in our old trailer in the ‘Glades and someone is outside on our property trying to kill us, but they’re like..not fully human anymore. Idk it’s hard to remember it all but it’s basically someone hunting me down and trying to kill me/hurt me.

23. Do you have enemies? 
 I don’t think so, but there are plenty of people that dislike me. Idgaf.

No, unless you count my committed relationship to food.

Nope

26. Are you open about your feelings? 
Yes and no. I’m still figuring this out. I try to be open about my feelings but I also hate showing when I’m having a rough time so I suppress stuff a lot. I’m used to having to be the ‘strong’ one.

27. What’s your family like? 
Dysfunctional but loyal and protective as hell.

28. Would you date someone your family didn’t approve of? 
 I have in the past and honestly it just stresses me out. Plus my family usually has pretty good judgement. I don’t wanna date anyone period, though.

29. Any pet peeves? 
So many tbh. I keep them to myself usually though. Biggest ones are people nitpicking me or rushing me, and people undermining my intelligence. I try to be humble but don’t treat me like I’m stupid, I’m a fucking scientist for a reason. Oh, and people assuming I’ve had an easy life just because my life seems pretty stable now and I’m happy. I don’t talk about my childhood or adolescence for a reason, and I appreciate when people just take my word for it when I say I went through hell when I was younger. My life isn’t 'easy’; I just know how to enjoy what I have because it’s lot better than what my life used to be.

I could write a book about things that annoy me but honestly the bottom line is it's people being rude and not thinking before they speak/act.

30. Do you believe in astrology?
 Not really, but I do enjoy it! It’s fun and usually really accurate.

(just a heads up: being unemployed and hanging out on tumblr all day has been A LOT OF FUN (too much fun?) but ALAS i have gotten myself a semi-crappy job and it has weird hours and no internet usage. i will be keeping up with thieves-prosper and tims-scrapbook and tumblring here when i get time, but i will probably be a little scarce until i get adusted to everything. (especially since i went to a concert tonight and have errands to run after work all week and am EXHAUSTED because of this whole getting-up-in-the-morning bullshit.) (AND i have plans this weekend! and i should do some christmas shopping/crafting!) (i will do my best to pop into the gb chat on friday though, stop preemptively yelling at me!)

ps: max and sherri bemis are still THE BEST. the way max looks at sherri when he's singing! the way sherri sings along to max's parts of their songs together! the way a crowd of dudes catcall about how cute their baby is! SO PERFECT.
