My fancy-schmancy puzzle table and wooden card table I received for Birthday and Christmas, with my Walking Dead puzzle from my kids half done on top, in my burgeoning NerdCave. 2020 had a few positive moments. :)
Long day, tired face, new ink.
Had a real good time at the tattoo studio. Ended up being the clean-up, rearrange, prep person for my former co-worker. We've always worked together well and today was no different.
And they came out as non-binary to me and invited me to their name & gender marker change celebration. 🥰
Plus a bunch of folks got registered as donors and the stem cell organisations exceeded their initial fundraising goal.
Nursing home rotation: finished
Evaluation: very good
Co-workers: sad to see me go including the person I clashed with
Sleep schedule: more fucked than usual
Eating disorder: triggered
Treat yo self: Littmann Classic III ordered
Summer break: starting now!

Down and out with a nasty sinusitis but at least my teacher thanked me for the "correct and thorough" sick note via email.
She'd mentioned repeatedly that classmates not letting her know on time/saying how long they'll be out/also informing their employers is the bane of her existence.
So I guess it is both normal to want and possible to achieve getting a good grade in being absent from class.

Last song: Hozier - Work Song. Gotta hand it to Mr. Hozier, the man makes a great musical background for thinking way too hard about your blorbos.
Last book: Not sure what I actually finished last. I'd completely fallen out of the habbit of reading books for fun for a while and am currently trying to get back into it. I picked up Aubrey Gordon's "What we don't talk about when we talk about fat" again and started over and I'm also trying to work out where I left off in Rachel Caines' Stillhouse Lake series.
Last movie: Oof, sad to say that I went to see the Minecraft movie with a friend last night. Not my first choice but we had trouble finding anything we could agree to. Complete waste of time.
Last tv show: The Pitt! That show is eating my brain in the best way.
Favourite colour: Black, always. Even though that is the worse choice for clothes/furniture/etc. when you have one grey and one white cat and it's spring.
Sweet, savoury, or spicy: Savoury! I need to be in the mood for sweet and spicy I can only handle to a degree. But I'm always down for savoury.
Relationship status: Single and too fuckin tired to mingle.
Last thing I googled: Air/swamp boats. Because my brother and his partner were telling me something about their last holiday and we weren't sure what those things were called.
Current obsession: Again, The Pitt. That show is everything to me right now and even has me try and wite fanfic for the first time in years! Let's see if I can still pull off angsty smut after all this time.
Looking forward to: Going dancing with my bestie (and maybe the work wife) on the 17th! The DJ from one of our old haunts started doing an indie/alternative/rock '90s to early '00s party at a little club 2-3 times a year. Same people and the same music from our clubbing days. Total blast from the past and has been real good fun the last few times.
