PERYKROZ – current species design
This is the current and most up-to-date design of the Perykroz species. Over time I experimented with different silhouettes and anatomical ideas, but this version is the one that best captures the creature's identity.
The overall coloration and visual inspiration come from the Eurasian jackdaw, one of my favorite birds. Its dark plumage, subtle gradients and striking pale eyes heavily influenced the final look.
The head shape was inspired by the northern pike, particularly its elongated snout and predatory profile. I wanted to combine the sleek elegance of a flying creature with the intimidating features of an aquatic hunter.
Perykroz is a large flying species with membranous wings, a streamlined body and a silhouette designed to feel both graceful and slightly unsettling.
