I have a lot of hot bleach takes I don't talk about but I think the biggest one I have is that Toshiro is only involved in so many arcs because he's a cash cow fan favorite character. Great backstory, cool abilities, but there's no fucking reason he should be replacing characters like Uryu and Chad on merch. You could take Toshiro out of Bleach and the plot would be exactly the same.

He's the TENTH CAPTAIN. Every ounce of attention he got should have been focused on Jushiro instead... you know, the dude who have Ichigo the combat pass and is also RUKIAS CAPTAIN?!?!?!

Is it so hard to believe that people relate to him? That SA survivors would flock to him?

I had lunch today with two women who want to be my friends

Saw tiktok the other day about how fandoms have changed and with the increase of people joining since the pandemic "cringe culture" is affecting fandom spaces. One of the biggest things they said was how if you're in the same fandom a year later its "cringe" and that fandom is "dead" and to move on its not it any more.

It went on to say more but all i could think of is the fandoms im in (even just casually) and sure some might be innactive for a bit but there almost always something in the works!

Like steddie fandom alone is what 3? Years going?. Danny phantom is alive and thriving despite the show being over a while ago. MHA going strong. The magnus archives still increasing ao3's office romcom fics and eldrich horror fics. My first ever fandom Percy Jackson still has content being made a lot is on tik tok now (love the unwilling ascention skits).
