Meet the #CLEOME .. #beautiful #annual and 1 of m'y #personalfavs #flowers that are happy to grow just about anywhere altho they prefer lots of #sunshine n moderate water n they like thrive both in ##pots sat outdoors or along #borders or just left to grow in any #garden spot....they can grow quite large on long strong #stalks with #plentiful #thick #foilage....they do take a good Los or so before #blooms begin to appear but they're #outstandinginthefield n may look #delicate as multiple separate small #petals open open individually n yet in perfect #harmony #swaying on the most gentle #summertime #breezes but I've seen them withstand #gales of winds over 30 to 40 mph during #storms with barely any indication of harm! Even if petals are blown off they continue to make new rings that look much like #satellites n if you take the time to watch them...their #unending #emergence of these continued round ball shaped blooms all the way from mid summer into late fall....ive had some blooming well into #october end...n they come in multiple #varieties of #colors from #satin #silk #whites to #mauves #pinks n #lavenders for the most part....theyre Most astounding for #photoshoots in the #early #mornings when #droplets of #dew hang onto their #outstretched long #delicate arms...lineing the stems like #magical #glass #beads...truely a #breathtakeing #sight to behold for any passer by n esp for those who love not only growing #flowers or any #foilage be it a summertime treat or going with #perrenials (bushes..trees..returning foilage that come back year after year )....ALOT of what I've learned about beauties like these have simply been by trial n error....#Nature herself is the BEST of all teachers !! Well that...n lots of time...slowing down...n just watching n #childlike #curiosity...n remembering to #harmNOT n a healthy sense of #love n #respect for all the beauty all around us... remember that without plants...the earth wouldn't just be Gray n dull...we DEPEND on plants n trees for soooooooo much...they condition the soil...clean the air we breathe...absorb much of the carbon emissions n turn it back to oxygen...they give us many medications n products we use daily! (at Vandercook Lake, Michigan)
