The Campus Rec Center, Group fitness FitPass is now half off for the rest of the semester! With a FitPass members/students will be able to attend Zumba, yoga, cardio, and more! The FitPass can be used throughout the week. There are different classes every day of the week.
FitWell just finished up two of our spring programs: Women on Weights and the Olympic Lifting Clinics. Women on Weights was a 3-week course, that met once a week, designed to increase confidence and technique in proper weight lifting. We had nine awesome participants complete the program and left feeling more confident about their weightlifting technique and how to program workouts on their own.
Olympic Lifting Clinics were designed to teach participants the basic understanding and technique of the Snatch, Clean, and Jerk. We had two participants who completed the 6-week clinics and were able to drastically improve their technique in the Olympic lifts through one-on-one coaching from our certified personal trainers. Look out for more programs like this in the fall!
This March 24th Greeley’s Hip Hop Madness event will return to UNC! The event is FREE for everyone. There will be dance classes from 10am-1pm as well as dance performances and all style battles from 5pm-7pm.There will be DJs, prizes, and scholarships!
